Y.M. Pumps & Firefighting in Kiryat Ata has 35 years of experience in selling, overhauling and maintaining pumps. Run by Yitzhak Maor, a mechanical engineer and Technion graduate, the company works on pumps in industrial plants, institutions and residential buildings, including diesel-driven pumps. Crews carry out the work on site, from dismantling and transport to repair and reassembly, or dismantle a pump in the workshop, diagnose its faults and issue an itemized offer. After an overhaul the hydraulic characteristics and the electrical performance are tested. The company supplies and installs electric and diesel fire pumps to UL/FM standards, maintains fire protection systems as the Standards Institute requires, with a findings report and approval, and builds electrical and control panels. Submersible sewage pumps and drainage pumps are also covered.
